A forward curved centrifugal fan is shaped like a cylinder and small blades fall on the circumference of the impeller. The operation of a forward curved centrifugal fan requires a housing that converts high velocity air leaving the tips of the impeller blade into a lower velocity static force and directs the air flow to the outlet. The double inlet blower has a wider scroll housing drawing air in from both sides of the scroll delivering it to the wider square outlet. Double inlet centrifugal fans are suitable for any lower pressure applications requiring a high-volume flow particularly in small spaces. |
